In Monday’s loss to the Jazz, Bam Adebayo led the way for the Heat as he recorded 23 points, 11 rebounds and five assists while Andrew Wiggins added 26 points and five rebounds of his own.

Now Miami will try to bounce back on the road on Wednesday as they face off against a struggling Pelicans team.

On the other side, New Orleans enters Wednesday’s contest with a 15-40 record after defeating the Sacramento Kings at home in dominant fashion on Monday night.

Trey Murphy III led the way for the Pelicans in Monday’s victory as he ended the game with 21 points and seven assists while Jeremiah Fears recorded 20 points, four rebounds and three assists off the bench.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, one side may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Heat, they have five players listed on their injury report, including both Norman Powell and Wiggins.

Miami has ruled out Powell due to lower back tightness as he will miss his second consecutive contest.

With Powell sidelined, Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Simone Fontecchio could both be in line for increased roles once again.

The Heat have also ruled out Pelle Larsson as he continues to recover from a bruised forearm while Tyler Herro and Terry Rozier also remain sidelined.

Wiggins has been listed as questionable due to toe inflammation and he is in danger of missing his first game since February 3.

If Wiggins is sidelined, Nikola Jovic could be in line for an increased role against New Orleans.

Pelicans Injury Report

On the other side, the Pelicans have two players listed on their injury report for Wednesday’s matchup.

New Orleans has listed Micah Peavy as questionable due to a right great toe sprain, though he has seen his minutes dip over the last few weeks.
