The already short-handed Mavericks saw two players leave Thursday’s game in Los Angeles early due to injury.

Both Naji Marshall and Daniel Gafford left the Mavericks-Lakers matchup in the fourth quarter. According to the Mavericks, Marshall was ruled out with a left foot strain. Meanwhile, Gafford was out with right ankle soreness.

Dallas already has a long list of injuries to monitor. Rookie star Cooper Flagg was notably ruled out for Thursday’s game and the weekend’s Rising Stars challenge with a foot strain.

The Mavericks were in a back-and-forth battle with the Lakers, until the fourth quarter when Los Angeles began to pull away.
