James Harden made the All-NBA third team, and Ivica Zubac earned his first career NBA All-Defensive second team selection.

Both Ivica Zubac and James Harden’s awards paid off, as they both played a key role in helping the Clippers clinch a playoff spot this season. Ivicia Zubac Earns All-Defensive Second Team

The NBA announced that Zubac was named to the All-Defensive Second Team. This is Zubac’s first career award that he has won. Zubac anchored the Clippers’ defense this past season. The 2024-25 Clippers allowed the NBA’s fourth-fewest points during the season.

Zubac is the latest player on the team to earn an All-Defensive Second Team.

The Croatian native averaged career highs of 16.8 points, 12.6 rebounds, 0.69 steals, and 32.8 minutes in 80 games (all starts) this season. Zubac led the NBA in total rebounds (1,010), becoming just the fourth Clipper to achieve this, along with DeAndre Jordan (2013-14, 2014-15), Michael Cage (1987-88), and Swen Nater (1979-80). Kawhi Leonard won it previously with the Clippers.

James Harden Earns All-NBA Third Team

James Harden was named to the All-NBA Third Team.

It’s James Harden’s 8th career All-NBA selection.

It’s also the first one Harden won with the Clippers. In 79 games (all starts) this season, Harden averaged 22.8 points, 8.7 assists, 5.8 rebounds, 1.49 steals, and 35.3 minutes. He was the only player in the NBA to rank top-10 in total points (10th), assists (third), steals (eighth), and three-pointers (tied for ninth).
