There was some serious chatter before the trade deadline that Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo could be moved. The deadline came and went, and Giannis is still with the franchise that drafted him in 2013. Some were concerned with the hefty price tag, and at least one team was wary of his ego.

At 31, the two-time league MVP is in the middle of his athletic prime. Having tasted what it’s like to be on the top, it’s safe to say that he wants to get back there. Winning a title is the only thing that keeps him motivated. Does that mean that he wants to bring another title to the lone franchise he’s been with? Of course – but there’s a catch.

“I want to win a championship with the Milwaukee Bucks. And if that’s not on the table or in the plans…so that’s when you like, maybe I got to pivot, because I really want to win,” Giannis Antetokounmpo said in an interview with ESPN.
