INDIANAPOLIS — Forward Pascal Siakam will miss the Pacers’ first game after the All-Star break for personal reasons Thursday against the Wizards in Washington after playing in his fourth All-Star Game according to the NBA’s official injury report.
The Pacers were recently fined $100,000 for holding Siakam and two other starters out of a game on Feb. 3 for rest reasons, but Siakam played in 51 of the Pacers’ 55 games prior to the All-Star break. He scored in double figures in every one of those games, scored at least 20 points in 40 of the 51 and led the Pacers with 23.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game and also averaged 3.9 assists per game.
