SAN FRANCISCO — Kristaps Porzingis could make his Warriors debut as his new team faces the Celtics at 10 p.m. Thursday at Chase Center. Porzingis is listed as questionable on the Warriors injury report with left Achilles tendon injury management.

Elsewhere, Stephen Curry is listed as out for Thursday’s game due to a knee issue. Jimmy Butler (torn ACL) and Seth Curry (left sciatic nerve) are also listed as out on the Warriors injury report. Curry’s absence is a tough blow for a Golden State team looking to finish the season strong.

Porzingis was acquired by the Warriors at the trade deadline from the Hawks. He hasn’t been able to stay on the court this season and hasn’t played in a game since Jan. 7. But the Warriors are hoping Porzingis is healthy enough to finish out the regular season to make a playoff push.

If Porzingis is able to play Thursday, he’ll make his Warriors debut against the Celtics, his old team where he spent two seasons. He helped the C’s to the 2024 NBA championship, but was traded to Atlanta over the summer. Celtics fans will also see Al Horford in a Golden State jersey for the first time since Horford left in free agency over the summer.

The Warriors come out of the All-Star break with a 29-26 record, good for eighth in the West. They’re looking to climb the standings with Curry still playing great basketball, though they were dealt a tough blow with Butler’s season-ending ACL injury. The Celtics are 35-19 for second in the East as they’ve exceeded expectations to open this season.
