The No. 7-ranked Purdue Boilermakers host the Indiana Hoosiers in a Big Ten battle tonight.
The Hoosiers upset the Boilermakers earlier this year, and my Indiana vs. Purdue predictions think they’re being spotted too many points tonight.

The Purdue Boilermakers have underperformed at home, going 0-6 ATS in their last six games at Mackey Arena.
The Indiana Hoosiers are more than familiar with the short trip to West Lafayette and beat the Boilermakers 72-67 last month at home. There were no statistical outliers in that game, and IU is now 7-2 ATS in the last seven meetings with four outright wins as underdogs.Â
Indiana’s biggest weakness is rim protection and opponent FT rate. However, the Boilermakers won’t be able to take advantage since they sit outside the top 300 in attacking the rim frequency and FT rate.

While I’m betting on Indiana to cover the 11-point spread, the Boilermakers should win outright. They are rated higher on both sides of the floor and are in a revenge and a bounce-back spot following a loss to No. 1 Michigan.
IU ranks just 13th in the Big Ten in rebound rate during conference play. Purdue forward Trey Kaufman-Renn has grabbed double-digit boards in four of his last five games and is coming off a 12-rebound performance against Michigan’s elite frontcourt.
