The Philadelphia 76ers will begin a 3-game trip on Saturday when they take on the New Orleans Pelicans with Joel Embiid sidelined due to both right knee injury management and right shin soreness. This is the first night of a back-to-back as Philadelphia will head to Minnesota on Sunday to face the Timberwolves, and the Sixers will be looking to get off to a good start on the trip.

In terms of the starting lineup against a pesky Pelicans team, the Sixers will turn to veteran Andre Drummond to start in place of Embiid. This has been the case for a majority of the season as coach Nick Nurse likes to keep Adem Bona in a reserve role.

Drummond, averaging 7.0 points and 8.7 rebounds on the season, will join Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Kelly Oubre Jr., and Dominick Barlow in the starting unit.

The Sixers and Pelicans will tip off at 7 p.m. EST from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
