Welcome back to The Playlist.
We’re into week 17.
We’re coming out of the All-Star break.
Joining me to talk about the NBA Creator League and all things fantasy hoops, I got my man Jason Zoe Fisher here straight from the All-Star break.
Dude, did you get- I see you got your voice back.
I think you did?
Barely.
Got my voice back, got a little rest.
All-Star is incredible, but need some recovery after that, and now I am ready for the second half of the NBA season.
Let’s go, baby!
Let’s go.
Let’s go.
And shout out to, to you for this dope Yahoo!
shirt.
Get the merch, you know what I’m saying?
That’s a fantasy champion you’re looking at here.

Let’s go.
And you’re gonna get some fantasy championship advice.
But I know you’re a Cleveland guy.
Obviously, one of the biggest moves at the deadline was James Harden going to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
What are your thoughts on that move, and how do you think that this is going to impact Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen, and the return of Evan Mobley?
Well, as a Cavs fan, I am fired up.
They’re undefeated since the trade.
they are looking like they got a new energy and a new spirit.
We all loved Darius Garland in Cleveland.
He was, he was great, but he hasn’t been healthy.
He wasn’t healthy in the postseason last year, and in and out of the lineup this year.

James Harden is available.
He’s playing.
He’s consistent.
I know he’s had some issues in the playoffs, but hopefully, when you’ve got Donovan Mitchell as the number one option on the team, it can help with any issues that, or fears that we might have around James Harden, because he’s looking really good.
And what I think is most exciting about James Harden joining the Cleveland Cavaliers is the potential it unlocks for the big men, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen.
Three games so far with James Harden, Jarrett Allen has scored 20 points or more in all three of those games.
James Harden knows how to find the big men, get them involved in the offense, and it’s already paying off for Jarrett Allen.

I think that is gonna be the biggest difference in fantasy and in reality for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Couldn’t have said it any better, man.
Just looking at Jarrett Allen in those first three games, he’s shooting 80% from the field.
Yeah.
I mean, that’s what James Harden does.
He gets these big men easy buckets, good looks at the rim, efficient looks at the rim.
And then you can look at Donovan Mitchell, you could say, “Oh, well, a ball-dominant guard like James Harden might take something away from him.”
Well, Donovan Mitchell’s still doing Donovan Mitchell.
He’s still averaging 32 and six, shooting an efficient 50% from the field.

So yeah, this is just a great move for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and just really raises their floor.
Um- Yeah.
But speaking of- I am so excited, Titus.
I am fired up.
Cavs fans are excited.
And their other pickup, Dennis Schroder and Keon Ellis, I don’t know how much- Ah, Keon … of an effect that’ll have in terms of fantasy basketball, but in terms of actual basketball, the reality, the wins-loss column, those are some dogs, and Cleveland needed that little grit added to the team, and they got that.
Some huge pickups by Kobe Altman and the Cavs front office at the deadline.
Always great to have you, Jason.

Even though you got your little homer hat on, it’s great to see that the Cavs are at least on the way up, and you got the swag to match.
So, where can the people find you?
Let’s go.
Let them know.
Follow me on Instagram, jzfish.
You’ll see me on NBA TV and all around, and one day, I will actually be the fantasy champion.
In the meantime, I just wear the shirt.
I look the part.
All right, guys, we’ll see you next time on The Playlist.
Peace.
