The G League’s OKC Blue mounted a double-digit comeback in their 114-107 win over the Stockton Kings on Sunday. The road victory improved their record to 8-16 in the regular season.
Early on, it looked like the Blue were on their way to another loss. They were in a 33-27 deficit after the first quarter. The Kings eventually ballooned their lead to 14 points at 55-41 with a little under three minutes to go in the first half. OKC had 25 points in the second frame. It entered the halftime break in a 61-52 hole.
Coming out of the break, the Blue played with a little bit more scoring power. They had a 40-point third quarter. Not only did that scrub away Stocketon’s advantage, but OKC pulled ahead. It had a 92-84 lead through the first three frames. A game-changing stretch to make this a game once again.
The fourth quarter became pretty mundane. The Blue never surrendered their only. It was the opposite, in fact. They led by as many as 13 points. They scored 22 points in the final frame, which was just enough to walk away with the resilient road win.
The Blue shot 47% from the field and went 10-of-32 (31.3%) from 3. They shot 12-of-18 on free throws. They had 22 assists on 43 baskets. Five Blue players scored double-digit points.

Meanwhile, the Kings shot 42% from the field and went 13-of-43 (30.2%) from 3. They shot 18-of-23 on free throws. They had 22 assists on 33 baskets. Six Kings players scored double-digit points.
