The Phoenix Suns continued their four-game homestand with a 92-77 loss Feb. 22 to the Portland Trail Blazers before a sellout crowd of 17,071 at Mortgage Matchup Center in the second of a back-to-back.
The Suns (33-25) trailed by as many as 20 points in the third quarter as the Blazers (28-30) went on a 20-6 run to take a 71-51 lead with 3:30 left in the quarter.

Shooting 37.3% from the field, the Suns set a season low for points in a game. Their previous low came in a 138-89 loss Dec. 10 at defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder
Jerami Grant paced the Blazers with 23 points while Donovan Clingan posted a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds. Portland finished the season series 1-2 versus the Suns.
All-Star Deni Avdija made an early exit within the first minute of the game with back issues.

Suns guard Collin Gillespie scored a team-high 18 points while Jalen Green added 13 points as he was coming off hitting a game-winning 3 to stun the Orlando Magic, 113-110, in double overtime.

Green played after previously being listed as questionable under right hamstring injury management. He’s only played 10 games in his first season with the Suns.
Phoenix was without Devin Booker (right hip strain), Dillon Brooks (left hand fracture), Grayson Allen (right knee/right ankle injury management), Jordan Goodwin (left calf strain), Cole Anthony (not with team) and Haywood Highsmith (right knee injury management).
Allen was downgraded from questionable to out.
Brooks and Goodwin suffered their injuries in Saturday’s game as both have undergone tests to help determine how long they’ll be out. Both are expected to miss multiple games.

Suns set season low for points in first half
The Phoenix Suns trail, 47-40, at half against the Portland Trail Blazers to mark the fewest points in the first half this season.
The previous low was 42 in the first half of a 108-105 win Jan. 4 over defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder.
Jamaree Bouyea leads the Suns with eight points while Jerami Grant has a game-high 12 points for the Blazers.
Phoenix is shooting just 34.7% from the field, going 2-of-19 from 3.
