BYU Basketball is nearing completion of its non-conference schedule.
Wisconsin Series
Multiple industry sources have told me that BYU and Wisconsin are finalizing a two-game series that will begin this upcoming season in the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. The return trip is expected to be in Milwaukee in 2026. Jon Rothstein reported that the SLC game will be November 21.

BYU and Wisconsin, of course, met in a thrilling round of 32 matchup where BYU held on to win 91-89 and advance to the Sweet 16. The Badgers lose leading scorer John Tonje, who torched BYU with 37 points, but bring back second-leading scorer John Blackwell. Blackwell averaged 16 ppg last season and has a good chance to be Preseason First-Team Big Ten.
CBS Sports’ Gary Parish has BYU #3 in his early college basketball rankings and Wisconsin #25.
What We Know About the Non-Conference Schedule.
Below is what we know from what is official or reported by me or others.
at Nebraska, October (exhibition)
vs UNC, October (exhibition, SLC)
vs Villanova, November 3 (Vegas)
Orlando MTE, November — two games versus Miami, Georgetown, or Dayton
vs UConn, November (Boston)
vs Clemson, December 9 (New York)
vs Wisconsin (Salt Lake City)
vs Delaware, November 11
vs Eastern Washington, December 22
The below four “buy” games are also being finalized, sources tell me.
vs Holy Cross
vs Pacific
vs South Dakota
vs UC Riverside
That is 12 of 13 non-conference games finalized. Sources have told me that BYU is working to finalize one final game in the Delta Center, likely against a Quad 3 type of opponent that would be another buy game, similar to what BYU had last year in the Delta Center versus Fresno State.
