The Dallas Mavericks could be without a few key players for Thursday night’s matchup with the Sacramento Kings.
According to the team’s injury report, forward P.J. Washington is ruled out for the game with a left ankle sprain. Rookie standout Cooper Flagg (left midfoot sprain) is also ruled out, while center Daniel Gafford (right ankle injury management) is doubtful.
Washington sustained his ankle injury late in Dallas’ 123-114 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday. He was in the process of catching a Marvin Bagley pass in the paint when it appeared he rolled his left ankle.
Washington wasn’t the only Mavericks player injured Tuesday. Forward Khris Middleton left the game with a right shoulder stinger after taking a bump in the second quarter. The Mavericks officially deemed Middleton questionable for Thursday’s game against Sacramento.

Mavericks-Kings would be the fifth consecutive game Flagg has missed due to injury. He last suited up on Feb. 10 in a 120-111 loss to the Phoenix Suns.
Ryan Nembhard, Moussa Cisse and Miles Kelly were all ruled questionable for Thursday to round out Dallas’ latest injury report.
