Cooper Flagg will miss his fifth straight game for the Dallas Mavericks when they take on the Sacramento Kings on Thursday at American Airlines Center.
The Mavericks announced on Wednesday that their star rookie will be out for the home matchup as he continues to recover from a sprain in the middle of his left foot, suffered on Feb. 10 against the Phoenix Suns.
With the team stuck in Indianapolis following a matchup against the Indiana Pacers following the All-Star Break, the former Duke star worked out at Butler’s Hinkle Fieldhouse, with head coach Jason Kidd stating that Flagg “looks good.” The team then flew to New York City for a game against the Brooklyn Nets, which Flagg also sat out.
In 49 games this season, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft averages 20.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists while shooting 48.2 percent from the floor.
