After a one-game stint in the G League, the Portland Trail Blazers recalled rookie center Yang Hansen from the Rip City Remix on Wednesday, the team announced.

Yang recorded 11 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots on Sunday in a 118-113 loss to the Santa Cruz Warriors. He went 5-of-9 from the field in 29 minutes, 5 seconds of work as the Remix dropped to 13-10 in the regular season.

The 16th overall pick rejoins the Trail Blazers ahead of their five-game road trip, beginning on Thursday in Chicago. The group will also visit Charlotte (Saturday), Atlanta (Sunday) and Memphis (March 4) before wrapping up in Houston (March 6).

Yang has played sporadically this season with the Trail Blazers, averaging 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in 7 1/2 minutes across 35 appearances. He started for the first time on Dec. 7, totaling four points, five rebounds and two assists in 19 minutes.

The 7-footer made his ninth appearance in the G League on Sunday, averaging 16.1 points, 9.8 rebounds, three assists and 1.4 blocks while shooting 52.1% from the field. He has finished in double figures eight times, including a 22-point effort on Jan. 14.
