Unfortunately for Dallas, they still won’t have the services of their prized rookie.

Cooper Flagg ruled out vs. Grizzlies with left midfoot sprain

Cooper Flagg has been officially ruled out of the game against Memphis due to a left midfoot sprain.

It will be the sixth consecutive game missed by Flagg due to the issue. His last game action came against the Phoenix Suns on Feb. 10.

On the season, Flagg has appeared in 49 games for the Mavericks and posted averages of 20.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.2 steals per performance.

Flagg is going to have to return to game action soon if he wants to remain eligible for the Rookie of the Year Award. He needs to play in 16 of Dallas’ final 23 games in order to reach the league’s 65-game threshold.
