Flagg is averaging 20.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 48.2% from the field and 30.2% from three-point range in 49 games.

He was the first pick in the 2025 NBA Draft this past summer (out of Duke).

So far, Flagg has proven to be as good as advertised.

Noah Weber of The Smoking Cuban wrote (on February 5): “Cooper Flagg is going to be an elite three-level scorer once that 3-point shot comes around. He already looks so comfortable shooting mid-range jumpers off the dribble, going either direction, and his finishing at the rim is incredible for a 19-year-old. Scary hours for the rest of the league.”
