I’ve been kind of simmering on a, like, most polarizing players type thought.

I want to talk about Paolo Banchero.
I think he’s a very loud case of a talented, physically overwhelming player.
If he’s got the mid going, and he’s driving it to the free throw line, and he’s making plays, this is the offensive engine that the Magic envision.
But then you watch him on other nights, and it’s why did Paolo take this shot?
What are these turnovers?
Why did he pass up this look?
And the Magic have once again been outscored in his minutes, and this has been something that has been consistent pretty much his entire career.
For me, with Paolo, it’s all about quick decisions for him.
When he makes quick decisions, he generally has a good outcome.
He’s one of the strongest drivers we’ve seen.
But he’s in the position, and the conversation has gotten so loud, that what he does poorly or what he struggles with is louder to people
