CM Punk pulled out all the stops to make sure WWE Elimination Chamber felt like a home game.
Punk defended his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor at Elimination Chamber in Chicago. Balor entered first to his “Catch Your Breath” theme song. Punk was next, but fans didn’t immediately hear his iconic “Cult of Personality” theme song.

Instead, the lights went out, and the PA system started playing “Sirius” by the Alan Parsons Project. The song is well-known as the Chicago Bulls’ starting lineup introduction song. The song has been a tradition of the team since the 1980s, but it became an even bigger element during the team’s run of six NBA Championships in the Michael Jordan era of the 90s.
Longtime Bulls PA announcer Ray Clay was on the call as Punk walked through the tunnels out into the arena, where “Cult of Personality” cued up.
Taking things a step further, Punk also wore Chicago Blackhawks-themed ring gear for the match. Punk’s entrance jacket also featured a tribute to his beloved dog, Larry, who died last year.
Fans were also thrilled with Punk’s choice of walkout song, sharing their excitement on social media.

CM Punk ultimately won the match, putting Balor away after hitting the Go To Sleep. Punk ended up bloodied, but still celebrated with AJ Lee, the new Intercontinental Champion, who ran to the ring to congratulate him.
