The Los Angeles Lakers host the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet.
The Lakers return home from a two-game road trip, which ended with a 129-101 victory over a Golden State Warriors team that was without Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler. After losing each of its previous three games, Los Angeles looked like its best self, as it shot 53.3% overall and 46.3% from 3-point range while dishing off 29 assists and establishing a 47-40 edge in rebounding.
It will look to improve on a 35-24 record that has it in sixth place in the Western Conference and 1.5 games behind the fifth-place Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kings: Dylan Cardwell (left ankle sprain), De’Andre Hunter (left eye retinal repair), Zach LaVine (right fifth finger tendon repair), Keegan Murray (left ankle sprain) and Domantas Sabonis (left knee meniscus repair) are out.
Lakers: No injury report has been submitted yet, but Rui Hachimura (illness) missed their last game.
Advice and Prediction:
There isn’t a whole lot to say about a game in which a Lakers team that will be at or near full strength is going up against a Kings squad that is without two recent All-Stars and has been accused by many of tanking. Sacramento recently lost 16 games in a row, and it has the worst record in the West at 14-47.
Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine won’t play, but DeMar DeRozan will play, as will former Lakers guards Russell Westbrook and Malik Monk, both of whom can do damage. The Kings may be 29th in points per game and 28th in offensive rating, but they have won two of their last three contests and put up a robust 130 points on the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.
They’re also 28th in defensive rating, so it will likely be the usual case of the Lakers needing to limit their turnovers, limit their opponents to one shot, get as many transition scores as possible and show plenty of offensive and defensive discipline and focus. They’re simply a much more talented team than Sacramento is at this point, so they should find a way to win.
Prediction: Lakers 118, Kings 111
