The Charlotte Hornets have continued to be one of the most impressive teams in the calendar year. Three months in, they have turned around their 2025-26 campaign, as they now have a 30-31 record. Before the turn of the calendar, they were struggling, but they have found their form.

Brandon Miller is a big part of that because he has become one of their best players. He is finally healthy, and he is meshing well with his teammates, especially LaMelo Ball and rising star Kon Knueppel.

The Hornets have a team that is beaming with potential. Most people would know that Knueppel has taken the NBA by storm, as he is the current favorite to win the Rookie of the Year award over his Duke teammate Cooper Flagg.
That has led to some people overlooking Miller, who has been rock solid as a promising wing player. He is not only scoring well with his offensive game, but he has also delivered on his potential as a defender. He is the optimal wing to put within head coach Charles Lee’s system.

When asked about his contributions to the team, Miller made sure to credit his teammates. He does not want all the glory from the Hornets’ recent success because he knows his teammates have all contributed to the team’s rise in recent months.
“Makes my job a lot easier. We see Kon, Melo, and Miles. Anybody, Mous, good for offensive boards. Turn that energy into something, he’s playing as hard as he can, play hard for your brother. That’s what we’ve been doing,” Miller said about how his teammates have continued to inspire him.
As the Hornets continue to build on their rise, the team can be dangerous when the postseason rolls around. This momentum is quite impressive, and they will probably keep fighting and proving that they belong in the upper echelon of the Eastern Conference.
