It was not that long ago that Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics were dealing with the immediate aftermath of the Achilles tendon injury he suffered against the New York Knicks in the 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals. But now we find ourselves staring down the likely imminent return of the St. Louis native to the NBA as the end of his lengthy yet shorter-than-expected rehabilitation draws nigh.

And while it seems all but inevitable for the Duke alum to return to play, there was a moment where it all seemed too much for Tatum to deal with. That is the starting point of the first installment of the mini-docuseries put together by Tatum’s camp to document his journey back to the league.

Called “The Quiet Work,” chapter one is titled “Starting at Zero,” as an apropos a name as one might come up with. Check it out below!
