The Oklahoma City Thunder travel on the road to face the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday. This will be the first matchup of the season between the two squads.
The Thunder (47-15) cruised to a 100-87 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 30 points and five assists. The reigning MVP has picked up right where he left off from his injury absence.
Meanwhile, the Bulls (25-36) enjoyed a 120-97 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday. Josh Giddey had a 20-point, 14-rebound and 10-assist triple-double.
The Thunder will be without the reigning MVP, plus more. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdominal strain injury management) is out. Jalen Williams (hamstring strain) is out. Isaiah Hartenstein (soleus injury management) is out. Ajay Mitchell (abdominal strain, ankle sprain) is out. Branden Carlson (back strain) is out. Nikola Topic (G League assignment) is out. Thomas Sorber (torn ACL) is out.
Meanwhile, the Bulls are also short-handed. Jaden Ivey (patellofemoral pain syndrome) is out. Patrick Williams (quadricep strain) is out. Anfernee Simons (ulnar styloid fracture) is out. Jalen Smith (calf strain) is out. Zach Collins (toe surgery) is out. Noa Essengue (shoulder surgery) is out.
