Marshall averaged 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.0 blocks while shooting 65.6% from the field, which ranked ninth in the nation. The 6-8 forward joined the Governors this season after transferring from Arkansas State.
Austin Peay shared the ASUN regular-season championship — its first regular-season title since 2008 — with Central Arkansas. The Governors got the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament and will face either Eastern Kentucky or Stetson in the quarterfinals on March 6 in Jacksonville, Florida.
The conference championship game — the winner of which receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament — is scheduled for March 8 (1 p.m. CT, ESPN2). APSU has not reached the NCAA Tournament since 2016, though it reached the ASUN title game in 2024, coach Corey Gipson’s first season.
