A Trio of Crowns
We had valiant efforts in the Kings-Suns game, but nobody was able to challenge for the top spot at the end. That solidifies our top three! Anthony Edwards, Paolo Banchero, and Luka Doncic are coming away with the crowns tonight. Here’s a look at the top of the leaderboard:

Note that the leaderboard doesn’t reflect that we have three winners tonight, so the math on the bonus bet distribution will be different.
Join us next week for another edition of King of the Court!
Doncic Takes Bronze
Surprise, surprise. Luka Doncic is one of the King of the Court winners. With a great fourth quarter against the Pelicans, Luka helped deliver the win and crossed the 40 P/R/A threshold to knock KAT, Jalen Duren, and Jaylin Williams out of third place. So, for now, Luka is one of our winners along with Anthony Edwards and Paolo Banchero.
Looking at the Kings-Suns game, we have one quarter left for a shake-up. So far, Precious Achiuwa and Collin Gillespie are the top contenders, but neither has crossed the 30 P/R/A threshold. Let’s see if we have a true surprise in store.
Luka Light Work
We’re at halftime in the Kings-Suns game, and nobody looks like a serious challenger to the throne. But more than a few players look like challengers in the Pelicans-Lakers game.
LeBron James leads the charge with 29 total P/R/A, followed by Luka with 26. Both are well within striking distance of the third and final spot on the leaderboard at 39. We’re also getting 24 P/R/A from Trey Murphy III, who can catch fire at any time. If Luka keeps cooking with these passes, it could be his night once again.
With this game awfully close, it’s going to be a tightly contested race to the finish.
More Parties in LA?
We’re at halftime in LA, and the stars are showing out. LeBron James and Luka Doncic have 23 and 22 P/R/A, respectively, and could certainly challenge for the top spots. But they’re not the only ones playing well.
Trey Murphy III finished up a good half, while Dejounte Murray is fitting in well with the Pelicans. We also had a great first quarter from Malik Monk, who put up 14 P/R/A early against the Suns. Looks like we’re going to have some challengers at the top; let’s see just how many we can get.
Luka Stays On Pace
After a productive first quarter against the Pelicans, Luka Doncic is firmly on pace to challenge for a top-three spot. He put up eight points, two rebounds, and two assists to get off to a strong start. But he’s not the only one in this game producing: LeBron James has 15 points early on, and Trey Murphy III is cooking as well. Both of those guys have won King of the Court crowns this season.
We’re also tipping off in the Suns-Kings game. It’s time for the final stretch, folks; buckle up.
Ant Man Takes Charge
Finally, the Ant-Man takes charge. In a close win over the Memphis Grizzlies, Edwards put up 41 points along with six rebounds and two assists. That effort puts him at the top of our leaderboard.
But, for now, the leaderboard stays unchanged. Jalen Duren, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Jaylin Williams (of all people!) are tied at 39 PRA. If things stand, all five would take home a share of the bonus bet. That would be quite the split.
We have two more games to settle. Luka Doncic and the Lakers are tipping off against the Pelicans, and our last game is between the Suns and the Kings. Let’s see who can challenge for the top three spots.
Knicks-Raptors Drama
It was quite a race to the finish in the Knicks-Raptors game. And it was Karl-Anthony Towns racing in front, claiming the second spot on the leaderboard in a tie with Jalen Duren. Along with Paolo Banchero, that sets our top three for the early window.
But we’ve still got a few current contenders. Anthony Edwards has 33 P/R/A with nine minutes left in the fourth quarter, and Tyrese Maxey has 31 at the end of the third. Both are explosive scorers who could vault to the top of the leaderboard with one hot stretch. It’s going to be another sprint.
Early Window Sprint
Paolo Banchero continues to hold the lead in the early window, racking up 48 P/R/A with four minutes to go. He’s sure making a case for the top spot on the board, leading the field by 13 P/R/A. But, we have three leaders to count, so there’s no special prize for first place.
Brandon Ingram is second on the board with 37 P/R/A as the third quarter winds down. Jalen Duren is in third with 36 P/R/A.
We’re almost done with the first batch of games. Let’s see how we sprint to the finish.
Tight at the Top
Karl-Anthony Towns is off to a solid start against the Raptors with 13 points, six rebounds and five assists as we approach halftime. He is joined in the lead by Paolo Banchero and Brandon Miller, who are also each at 24 PRA. Towns has time on his side, as the other two have entered the third quarter of their respective matchups.
Paolo Part Two??
The game is about a bucket. And Paolo Banchero is getting plenty of those. The reigning KOTC winner is up to 20 P/R/A midway through the second quarter, scoring 17 points against the Wizards.
Luckily for Paolo backers, this game against Washington remains close, so he has plenty of playing time left. This bodes awfully well for his chances. Cade Cunningham, one of our projected leaders, is in second while Brandon Miller rounds out the top three. That’s some star power in the early window.
Hornets Buzzing Early
It’s a great night for the Hornets offense against the tanking Mavericks. LaMelo Ball is leading the way, and has taken the top spot early on our leaderboard. He’s finding his groove as the Hornets approach a playoff berth.
Keep an eye on Paolo Banchero and the Magic. Facing another tanking team, the Wizards, they’re bound to put up some points. Banchero may be in line for a second straight KOTC crown if he keeps cooking.
