Olivier-Maxence Prosper is being promoted from his two-way contract and signing a standard deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, his agent Todd Ramasar of Life Sports Agency confirmed to The Commercial Appeal on March 4.

Prosper, who is in his third NBA season, begin the 2025-26 campaign with the Grizzlies on a two-way contract. The 6-foot-7 forward was nearing the maximum of 50 active games before the Grizzlies signed him to a multi-year deal.

Injuries and opportunity have led to Prosper playing the best basketball of his career. He’s averaging a career-high 7.6 points while shooting 54.1% from the floor and 38.9% on 3-pointers.

Prosper was acquired by the Dallas Mavericks with No. 24 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. He spent two seasons in Dallas before joining the Grizzlies.

Prosper has provided versatility for the Grizzlies, playing positions ranging from small forward to center.

His numbers have jumped since the NBA All-Star break. In 29 games previous, Prosper averaged 6.4 points and 2.9 rebounds. In his last seven games, Prosper has totaled 12.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.

Signing Prosper opens a two-way contract spot that the Grizzlies are likely to fill. The 15-man roster is also now full, meaning that Memphis can only add another player via a two-way contract.

Forward Rayan Rupert’s 10-day deal has ended. That allowed Memphis the opportunity to sign Prosper.
