The Oklahoma City Thunder travel on the road to face the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday. This will be the first matchup of the season between the two squads.

The Thunder (47-15) cruised to a 100-87 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 30 points and five assists. The reigning MVP has picked up right where he left off from his injury absence.

Meanwhile, the Bulls (25-36) enjoyed a 120-97 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday. Josh Giddey had a 20-point, 14-rebound and 10-assist triple-double.

End 3Q: Thunder 87, Bulls 76

Giddey knocks down the outside jumper. Thunder call a timeout. Continues to be a close game. Chicago even retook the lead a couple of times in the second half.

Half: Thunder 55, Bulls 54

Pretty poor finish as Sexton got it within one point to enter halftime. Both teams picked things up on offense. Joe has 15 points. Holmgren has six points and six rebounds. Meanwhile, Yabusele has 15 points and eight rebounds. Sexton has 11 points. Let’s see if OKC can play to its level of defense in the third quarter.

2Q, 3:35 left: Thunder 50, Bulls 43

Wiggins goes at Giddey for the banked layup. Bulls call a timeout. Both teams are starting to pick things up on offense.

End 1Q: Thunder 26, Bulls 22

Pretty good start for the Thunder. The Bulls shot 30% from the field. No real chemistry on that side. If OKC pulls off a win, it’ll be because of its defense. Williams has eight points and five rebounds. Wallace has five points and three assists.

1Q, 3:24 left: Thunder 22, Bulls 12

McCain gets to the rim without any problems. Gets the driving layup. Bulls call a timeout. OKC is finding a rhythm with its second unit.

Starting lineups:

The Thunder will start Cason Wallace, Isaiah Joe, Lu Dort, Aaron Wiggins and Chet Holmgren. The Bulls will start Josh Giddey, Tre Jones, Matas Buzelu, Isaac Okoro and Guerschon Yabusele.
