Jazz at Wizards picks and predictionsPrediction
Jazz 125, Wizards 121
The JAZZ (+105) are a much better play as short dogs, as opposed to paying up for just a little bit of wiggle room taking Utah with the points.
Generally, with games with a spread of 2.5 or fewer points, it’s a good idea to back the underdogs on the moneyline, while laying the little bit of points when you like the favorites.
The Jazz +2.5 (-105) is not a good play, unless you’re absolutely sold on the fact that the Wizards will win, but only by a single bucket. That’s the only reason to like Utah catching the points over the moneyline play.
PASS.
OVER 242.5 (-115) is the lean, but go with a half-unit play at most.
The Over has cashed in 3 in a row for Washington, while going 7-2 in the past 9 outings on the road.
As far as Utah is concerned, the Over is 5-2 in the previous 7 outings, while going for 114 or more points in 9 of the past 12 outings. The Jazz have allowed 123+ points in 5 of the past 7 games.
