The Detroit Pistons will be without Ausar Thompson – and potentially Cade Cunningham – against the Brooklyn Nets.
Thompson (right ankle sprain) was listed as out on the team’s 5:30 p.m. injury report on Friday, March 6, a day before the Pistons are scheduled to host the Nets. The third-year defensive ace exited in the first quarter of Thursday’s loss to the San Antonio Spurs after rolling his ankle during a drive to the rim and did not return.

Cunningham (left quad contusion) was listed as questionable in Friday night’s injury report. He has missed six games this season; an absence Saturday would keep him out of the first half of a home-road back-to-back, as the Pistons face the Miami Heat on Sunday. The two-time All-Star is averaging 38 minutes over the Pistons’ past five games.
Pistons big Jalen Duren also is on the injury report, listed as probable with lower back spasms.
The Pistons will look to get back on track following consecutive road losses in Cleveland on Tuesday and San Antonio on Thursday.
