In Tuesday’s loss to the Magic, Will Riley led the way for the Wizards as he recorded 19 points, three rebounds and five assists while Jaden Hardy added 18 points and two rebounds of his own off the bench.

Now Washington will try to bounce back at home on Thursday as they face off against a struggling Jazz team.

On the other side, Utah enters Thursday’s contest with an 18-44 record after losing on the road to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night.

Keyonte George led the way for the Jazz in Wednesday’s loss as he ended the game with 30 points and four rebounds while Isaiah Collier recorded 18 points and five rebounds off the bench.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Utah has ruled out George due to ankle injury management as they will elect to sit him on the second night of their back-to-back.

With George sidelined, Collier and John Konchar could both be in line for increased roles against the Wizards.

The Jazz have also ruled out Lauri Markkanen as he remains sidelined while recovering from a hip impingement.

Jaren Jackson Jr., Walker Kessler, Jusuf Nurkic and Vince Williams Jr. have also been ruled out as they are set to miss the remiander of the season.

Wizards Injury Report: Will Trae Young, Kyshawn George Play?

On the other side, the Wizards have eight players listed on their injury report, though star guard Trae Young is not one of them.

Of course, Young was acquired from the Atlanta Hawks in early January but has been sidelined due to a knee and quad injury but he is off the injury report and is expected to make his Wizards’ debut on Thursday.

Young is expected to be restricted to 17-20 minutes in Thursday’s matchup, which could allow for Bub Carrington to have an increased role.

Washington has ruled out Kyshawn George due to a partial UCL tear and he is expected to miss at least three weeks.

With George sidelined, Riley and Justin Champagnie could all be in line for increased roles until he is cleared to return.

The Wizards have also ruled out Tristan Vukcevic due to a left thigh contusion while Jamir Watkins is out with a left ankle and foot sprain.

Anthony Davis, Alex Sarr, Cam Whitmore and D’Angelo Russell have all been ruled out as they all remain sidelined while Anthony Gill has been listed as questionable with an illness.
