In Thursday’s loss to the Jazz, Julian Reese led the way for the Wizards as he recorded 18 points and 20 rebounds while Bilal Coulibaly added 17 points and three rebounds of his own.
Now Washington will try to bounce back on the road on Sunday as they face off against a struggling Pelicans team.
On the other side, New Orleans enters Sunday’s contest with a 20-45 record after losing on the road to the Phoenix Suns on Friday night.

Zion Williamson led the way for the Pelicans in Friday’s loss as he ended the game with 19 points, 10 rebounds and three assists while Trey Murphy III recorded 22 points and four assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday night’s matchup, one side may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Wizards Injury Report: Will Alex Sarr, Kyshawn George Play?
For the Wizards, they have six players listed on their injury report, though Alex Sarr is not one of them.

Of course, Sarr has been out since February 11 due to a right hamstring strain but he is off the injury report and will return on Sunday.
Washington has ruled out Kyshawn George due to a partial UCL tear in his left elbow and he is expected to miss at least three weeks.

With George sidelined, Will Riley and Justin Champagnie could both continue to have larger roles until he is cleared to return.
The Wizards have also ruled out Tristan Vukcevic due to a left thigh contusion while Jamir Watkins is out with a left ankle and foot sprain.
Anthony Davis and Cam Whitmore have also been ruled out as they continue to recover from injuries while D’Angelo Russell remains away from the team.
Pelicans Injury Report
On the other side, the Pelicans enter Sunday’s matchup with a clean injury report as they have nobody listed on it.
