Al Horford had a relatively quiet outing in the Golden State Warriors’ last game. The five-time All-Star got the start, but managed just four points, five rebounds, four assists and a block across 29 minutes of action.
Horford’s efforts were far from enough to help lift the Warriors against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The defending champs secured a 104-97 win at home, improving to 50-15.

The Warriors, on the other hand, dropped to 32-31. As of writing, Golden State remains eighth in the Western Conference. The ninth-seeded Los Angeles Clippers are breathing down their necks and are currently just one game behind the Warriors.

Golden State is back in action on Monday night. They play in the final contest of their current three-game road trip as they face the Utah Jazz at Delta Center.
The Warriors have already submitted their injury report for the Jazz game, which will be the first night of a back-to-back set. Horford has been added to the injury list. The Warriors announced that the 39-year-old will not play due to left toe injury management.

It does not sound like Horford has sustained a new injury. His absence from Monday’s game appears to be for rest, as the tested veteran continues to navigate his 19th season in the NBA.
Horford has played in just 41 out of Golden State’s 63 games this season. The 6-foot-8 center is averaging 8.3 points on 43.4% shooting, 5.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.1 blocks and 1.6 triples in 21.8 minutes per game.
Barring any unforeseen setbacks, Horford should be back in the mix for the Warriors on Tuesday against the Chicago Bulls.
