What to expect from the Boston Celtics vs. San Antonio Spurs game on Tuesday, March 10
The Spurs and the Celtics are both hot teams near the tops of their respective conferences. Both teams have won four of their last five games, and the Celtics in particular are fired up thanks to the March 6th return of Jayson Tatum, who made his presence felt in his first game back after an Achilles injury late last season.
Tatum’s return bolsters a roster that already includes stars like Jaylen Brown and Derrick White, but even that might not be enough to get them past the Spurs. Though the Oklahoma City Thunder are still at the top of the Western Conference, the Spurs lead the rest of the field quite comfortably, and Victor Wembanyama is still playing some of the best ball of his life. The Spurs have the home court edge on this one, but the Celtics could surprise us.Â
What to expect from the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Los Angeles Lakers game on NBA on NBC’s Coast 2 Coast Tuesday
The Lakers and the Timberwolves are both firmly in the postseason conversation in the West, though both lag behind the often-dominant Spurs and constantly dominant Thunder. Luka Doncic is still chasing the season scoring title for the Lakers, and while LeBron James is a game time decision for Tuesday night, we can always expect him to contribute leadership.
Meanwhile, Anthony Edwards is also one of the league’s top scorers over in Minnesota, and Rudy Gobert is pulling down more than 11 rebounds every single game. The Timberwolves’ offensive onslaught might be too much for the Lakers to handle, even at home, but they won’t go down without a fight.Â
