After defeating the New York Knicks on Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers will have another big game on Tuesday when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves. A win on Tuesday would move the Lakers, who are currently in fifth place in the Western Conference with a 39-25 record, past the Timberwolves in the standings.

LeBron James has missed the Lakers’ last two games due to an elbow ailment he sustained on Thursday against the Denver Nuggets, as well as left foot arthritis. His elbow ailment has reportedly healed, but he’s still listed as questionable for Tuesday’s contest because of his left foot condition, as well as a hip contusion.

Without him on Sunday, L.A.’s offense was a bit rough, as the team shot 43.2% from the field. But it played some of its best defense of the season and held the Knicks to 42.7% overall shooting and 23.5% from 3-point range while forcing 19 turnovers.
