Brown, who finished with 8 points and 7 assists before his dismissal, appeared to lose his composure in a heated exchange with referees that resulted in back-to-back technicals and an automatic ejection under NBA rules.
Fortunately for the Celtics, Derrick White stepped to the plate to keep the Celtics in the game. White leads all scorers with 32 points on 11-of-20 shooting, adding 5 assists and 4 rebounds.
It’s an unfortunate loss for the Celtics, who are taking on a hot Spurs team. Victor Wembanyama has been dominant for San Antonio, posting 29 points and 8 rebounds while shooting 6-of-12 from three-point range. He’s had support from De’Aaron Fox, who has complemented him with 18 points and a game-high 8 assists.
