The Detroit Pistons will still be without a key player when they host a battered Philadelphia 76ers team at Little Caesars Arena.

Ausar Thompson (right ankle sprain) will miss his fourth-straight game on Thursday, March 12 after exiting last Thursday’s road loss to the San Antonio Spurs early in the first quarter. Caris LeVert (left wrist sprain) will miss his third consecutive game. Rookie guard Chaz Lanier is questionable due to a G League assignment.

The 76ers injury report rules out four starters: They are without leading scorer Tyrese Maxey, who will miss at least the next three weeks with a tendon injury in his right pinky finger, star center Joel Embiid (right oblique strain), forward Paul George, who is serving a 25-game suspension, and wing Kelly Oubre (left elbow sprain). Oubre had 30 points in Tuesday night’s comeback win over Memphis.

The Pistons bounced back from a four-game losing streak on Tuesday, blowing out the Brooklyn Nets on the road, 138-100, to improve to 46-18 overall. They will host back-to-back road games this week, with the Memphis Grizzlies visiting on Friday. A three-game road trip follows next against the Toronto Raptors next Sunday, followed by the Washington Wizards Tuesday and Thursday.
