NBA legend Steph Curry will be out for at least 10 more days, and is not expected to play in NBA on NBC’s Sunday Night Basketball match-up between the Warriors and New York Knicks on March 15.
So what happened, and when will he be back? Let’s dig in.
The Warriors guard has been nursing an injury for the past several weeks, and it seems those issues will continue to keep him sidelined for at least a while longer.
Steph Curry’s injury, explained
Curry has missed the last 15 Warriors games while dealing with a patella-femoral pain syndrome/bone bruising in his right knee, and the Warriors announced he was re-evaluated for the injury on Wednesday of this week. The team said he is making good progress in recovery, and has been working out individually with plans to gradually intensify his training.

But for now, he is not cleared to play and likely won’t be until later in March, though a specific date will all depend on how quickly Curry rehabs and recovers from injury.
How long will Steph Curry be out?
The Warriors announced that Curry will be out for at least 10 days (from Wednesday of this week), with plans to re-evaluate him at that time, on March 18. To that end, Curry will continue to miss games, including the primetime NBA on NBC Sunday Night Basketball date between the Warriors and Knicks on March 15 on NBC and Peacock. There has been no word on exactly when he will return to the court.

How old is Steph Curry?
Steph Curry is currently 37 years old, and will actually be celebrating his birthday this week when he turns 38 on Saturday, March 14.
Pushing into his mid-to-late 30s, Curry is essentially NBA royalty at this point — and even broke into acting when he starred in the recent Peacock comedy series Mr. Throwback, playing a version of himself. But current lingering injuries not withstanding, Curry is still playing at the top of his game when he’s healthy and on the court.
