In Wednesday’s loss to the Magic, James Harden led the way for the Cavaliers as he recorded 30 points, five rebounds and eight assists while Donovan Mitchell added 25 points, five rebounds and five assists of his own.
Now Cleveland will try to bounce back on the road on Friday as they face off against a struggling Mavericks team.
On the other side, Dallas enters Friday’s contest with a 22-44 record after defeating the Memphis Grizzlies on the road on Thursday night to end their eight-game losing streak.

Khris Middleton led the way for the Mavericks in Thursday’s victory as he ended the game with 35 points and two rebounds off the bench while Daniel Gafford recorded 22 points and 14 rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Cavaliers Injury Report: Will Jarrett Allen Play?
For the Cavaliers, they have three players listed on their injury report, including center Jarrett Allen.

Cleveland has ruled out Allen due to right knee tendinitis as he will miss his fourth consecutive contest.

The Cavaliers have also ruled out Tyrese Proctor due to a quad strain while Max Strus remains sidelined while recovering from foot surgery.
Mavericks Injury Report: Will Klay Thompson, Daniel Gafford Play?
On the other side, the Mavericks have six players listed on their injury report, though Klay Thompson is not one of them.

Of course, Thompson missed Thursday’s victory due to rest but he is off the injury report and will return against the Cavaliers.

Dallas has listed Gafford as doubtful due to rest and he is expected to miss the second game of their back-to-back.
The Mavericks have also listed P.J. Washington as doubtful due to left ankle soreness and he is expected to miss his first game since March 1.
With both Gafford and Washington likely to be sidelined on Friday, Marvin Bagley III, Dwight Powell and Thompson could all be in line for increased roles.

Naji Marshall has been listed as questionable due to left foot soreness while Caleb Martin is probable and is expected to play despite dealing with a left finger sprain.
Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively II have been ruled out as they are both set to miss the remainder of the season.
