This Thunder team is just so tricky to beat.
This Thunder team, they didn’t have their best night shooting.
I mean, this Thunder team did not, you know, have their same kind of feels like it can’t miss kinda.
Like, I think we shot 11 of 44 from the three-point line.
Like, that’s not their best night shooting, yet OKC still finds a way.
Now, on the other side of things, if you’re the, if you’re a Celtics fan waking up this morning, I don’t think that you can feel overly bummed or down about that loss last night.
I mean, the Celtics had an opportunity to win it.
Payton Pritchard steps back for a, the game-winning three as the, the clock is winding down, and he just missed it.

He makes that shot, and maybe our conversation about this game is wildly different.
Maybe we’re talking about the Celtics in a much different light, being able to take down the big, bad Oklahoma City Thunder without Jayson Tatum.
But they didn’t, and that’s not the conversation.
So, but, but still, the fact that it was so closely within reach for the Celtics, I think should give Celtics fans at least a little bit of optimism about what this team can do in the postseason, especially once Jayson Tatum gets back into the fold on a more consistent basis.
But I mean, OKC, man, I don’t know who’s slowing that man down, and I don’t know who’s beating this team.

Well, and, and, you know, SGA, we saw Stat Line earlier, but even SGA when he was on the court after the game asked about setting the record, mentioned that he felt like he was, at times, sluggish in that game, and that the team overall- Yeah felt a little lethargic at times in that game.
And I just kept looking at it laughing as I’m watching him talk on the court, and I’m thinking, “Man, you just broke Wilt’s record, and all you And, and you won a game against one of the premier teams in the league, and your comment is, ‘Man, I, you know, records don’t really matter.
Wins do.
I’m glad we got the win, so now I’m glad we got the record, and it was a sluggish night for me.'”

Oh, okay.
Like, you, you are just doing, otherworldly things constantly when it is a sluggish night for you.
That is just, that’s how good they are.
So, yeah, kudos b- for everything that that game was last night.
It lived up to all the hype.
And I can’t wait, I, I will again say over and over and over again something we’re gonna echo on this show a lot, the upper echelon of this year’s NBA are very closely matched, so whatever version of these matchups we get are gonna be incredible.
But for SGA to take down Wilt is just something different.
To do it the way he does it is just something different.
To do it with this level of consistency is just something different.

And I, I laugh because we get bored so often with what we just- Perceived greatness eventually just becomes monotonous to all of us.
And I, I don’t wanna do that with SGA.
I’m not gonna do that with SGA
