With just days left until Selection Sunday and March Madness, it’s crunch time in conference tournaments around the country.
Arizona stands above the rest of the Big 12 after winning the regular season title and appears to be a lock for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. The Wildcats went 29-2 this season and the two games they dropped came in early February against Kansas and Texas Tech — two very good teams that could make March Madness runs of their own.

Perennial contender Houston has another stacked team. The Cougars went 26-5 and have repeatedly looked capable of making another Final Four run under Kelvin Sampson.

Arizona fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
Jaden Bradley returned to the bench with his left wrist taped up and the X-ray was negative, a team spokesperson told ESPN sideline reporter Kris Budden.
A few moments later, he was back on the court.

The Arizona star looked like he was in a bit of pain and left the game with a left wrist injury just moments ago.
He’s been huge for the Wildcats so far in this one with 13 points on 4-of-8 shooting. It would be a significant loss depending on the severity of the injury.

Good afternoon folks and welcome back to our Big 12 live tracker!
We still have about 15 minutes before tip-off in Kansas City. If the first meeting between these teams during the regular season is any indication, we’re in for a fun night. Arizona won that matchup as Anthony Dell’Orso went off for 22 in a close road win at Houston. The Wildcats didn’t have star guard Koa Peat for that one either.

It’s a formality at this point. The Cougars will play Arizona for the Big 12 title on Saturday night. Kansas, meanwhile, is headed for either a No. 3 or No. 4 seed in the NCAA tournament.

Darryn Peterson has missed all five of his shots. Melvin Council is 1-of-6. Flory Bidunga is 1-of-4. Houston leads 54-34 with 7:29 to go.
It’s just been a brutal half for Kansas and their Big 12 tournament hopes are disappearing. If you’re looking for a cheap ticket tomorrow in Kansas City, there will be plenty on the market.

The Jayhawks have had some decent looks, too. Houston is playing great defense. But it’s been one of those awful shooting luck nights for KU too.
