OKLAHOMA CITY — It was a busy weekend off the court for Oklahoma City Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein, who gave back to the community during two events over the weekend.

On Friday, Hartenstein hosted a special dinner at a local restaurant for 100 guests on behalf of the Hartenstein Foundation. Guests enjoyed heart-shaped pizzas, a meet-and-greet, and photo opportunities with Hartenstein.

A portion of all sales from Friday’s event will benefit the Hartenstein Foundation, which supports local youth and families.

On Saturday, Hartenstein lent an assist to the Moss family during a shopping spree at Homeland. In partnership with Homeland, the Thunder provided $500 to the Moss family to buy groceries.

Hartenstein helped the Moss family during the shopping spree by putting their groceries in the shopping carts and helping with checkout. After the shopping spree, the Moss family got an additional $500 Homeland gift card to use at a future visit.
