The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday. This will be the fourth matchup of the season. OKC has lost two of three. Last time out, OKC fell in a frustrating loss on Jan. 29.

The Thunder (52-15) have won seven in a row. They outlasted the Boston Celtics in a 104-102 win on Thursday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 35 points and nine assists as he passed Wilt Chamberlain for the NBA record of longest 20-point streak ever.

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves (41-26) grabbed a badly-needed 127-117 win over the Golden State Warriors on Friday. Anthony Edwards had 42 points and eight rebounds to avoid an upset.

Thunder 109, Timberwolves 103: You can bet the Thunder had this one circled. Expect Gilgeous-Alexander and others to try to get a signature win over the Timberwolves, who beat them in the last two matchups. It’s OKC’s turn to get a home game against the team it beat in the Western Conference Finals last year. This should be another thriller in a string of them for the Thunder. This should be a low-scoring affair. The reigning NBA champions have found a flow since the All-Star break by being somewhat healthy. That roll should continue to wrap up this lengthy homestand.
