Brandon Williams’ night was cut short due to injury when the Mavericks and Pelicans faced off in New Orleans.
According to the Mavericks, Williams is ruled out for the rest of Monday night’s game due to a hit to the side of the head. It appeared Williams sustained the hit late in the first quarter when Pelicans guard Jeremiah Fears bumped the Mavericks guard as he looked to grab a rebound.

Williams spent 5:11 on the court Monday, posting one assist and one block. He went 0-for-2 from the floor.

The Mavericks are slowly recovering from injuries that piled up near the season’s midway point. They’ll have to monitor Williams’ recovery in the next few days. After their game in New Orleans, the Mavericks take on the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday in American Airlines Center.
