The New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans are teaming up with Entergy to host a large-scale STEM education event later this month, aimed at engaging students and families across southeast Louisiana.

The organizations announced plans for STEM Fest 2026, a hands-on science, technology, engineering and math event scheduled for March 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center.

According to organizers, the event will feature more than 100 interactive exhibits and demonstrations designed to introduce participants to STEM concepts in an engaging, family-friendly environment. Participating organizations include Entergy and Ochsner Health, along with other regional partners.

The New Orleans Saints, New Orleans Pelicans, and Chevron teamed up to host STEM Fest 2025 where students participated in various Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math activities at the Caesars Superdome on March 15, 2025.

Attendees will have access to hands-on activities such as operating robots, building and testing a mechanical lung and learning about local ecosystems through demonstrations that include live reptiles. The event is open to learners of all ages, with a particular focus on K–12 students exploring potential career paths in STEM fields.

Organizers say the festival is intended to strengthen community engagement while helping address long-term workforce needs by inspiring interest in technical and scientific careers.

The event also serves as an outreach platform for businesses and educators to connect with students and families. Companies and organizations are encouraged to participate as exhibitors, offering demonstrations and educational stations.

Tickets are priced at $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the event. Each ticket includes admission to STEM Fest as well as entry to an upcoming Pelicans home game against the Orlando Magic on April 5. To purchase tickets, visit www.pelicans.com/stemfest or call 504-525-4667.

The initiative reflects a broader effort by local sports franchises and corporate partners to invest in education and workforce development across the New Orleans region.
