Memphis Grizzlies forward Santi Aldama underwent an arthroscopic procedure on March 17 following a right knee injury. He won’t return this this season.
Aldama is the fourth Grizzlies player to have a surgical procedure in the last two months. He joins Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Zach Edey. Each of those players won’t return this season.

Aldama played 43 games this season, averaging 14 points and 6.7 rebounds. He last played on Feb. 4 before being sidelined with the knee injury.
This is Aldama’s first season playing less than 60 games since his rookie year.
Aldama also received an orthobiologic injection to address the discomfort in his right knee. He is expected to make a full recovery ahead of the 2026-27 season.
