PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury Foundation is hosting approximately 300 students at Mortgage Matchup Center for Something Good.
“Phoenix Suns STEM Fest” is an interactive field trip focused on science, technology, engineering and math.
Students in grades 5 through 8 are participating in themed stations and projects designed to show how STEM connects to basketball.
At the end of the event, five student teams will take part in a pitch competition. The team with the best STEM project pitch will be named the winner.
