INDIANAPOLIS — Pacers newly acquired center Ivica Zubac had to leave Wednesday’s game in the fourth quarter with a head contusion after taking a blow from the Blazers Donovan Clingan. Zubac did not return.
Zubac had scored 18 points, a new high in his brief tenure with the Pacers. He entered Wednesday’s game averaging 10.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.

“I think it’s pretty clear he got fouled on the play,” Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said, adding he was unsure if there Zubac had a concussion. “It looks like a golf ball sticking out of his head.”
