Season series: Cleveland leads 2-1; Milwaukee is 2-1 against the spread (ATS) with the Under going 2-1. The most meeting was a 118-116 Bucks home win as 2.5-point underdogs with the Over (220.5) cashing on Feb. 25.
The Cavs have alternated wins and losses over the last 6 games with the latest being a 130-120 home loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. Cavaliers at Bucks picks and predictionsPrediction
Cavaliers 124, Bucks 117
The Bucks at +375 is tempting. They’re at home and beat the Cavs here last month. But with Antetokounmpo and Portis listed as questionable before heading off on a 4-game road trip that begins Thursday, that gives me pause.
So I’ll hedge and go to the spread instead.
PASS.
Take the BUCKS +10.5 (-102). They’re 16-18 at home as opposed to 12-21 on the road. The Bucks are 2-1 ATS against the Cavs this season.
Both teams are 5-5 O/U in the last 10 games. Meanwhile, Milwaukee has allowed 112+ points in each of its last 5 games. Cleveland has dropped 115+ in 4 straight. Keeping those trends in mind with an expected competitive game, and we’re going OVER 226.5 (-110).
