Speaking of the Eastern Conference, Giannis, he hyperextended his knee and suffered a bone bruise on March 15th.

There was reporting yesterday from The Athletic that the Bucks wanna shut down Giannis, and they’re out of the playing race.

They wanna optimize their lottery positioning, of course, and prevent further injury to Giannis.

But Giannis reportedly has refused, and he wants to play once he’s able to play.

In terms of Giannis’ future, Tom, is this story a big deal?

No, it’s not a big deal ’cause this has been the story.

It- there’s nothing, nothing has changed, Kevin.

It’s, it’s the same story, right?

You were out ahead of this story.

It’s just like, it’s the same story we’ve been talking about for months, Kevin.

Months this has been the story, is he’s at odds with the front office and he wants to play and all this stuff, and there’s no– there’s nothing new to this story.

so I’m gonna say no big deal, and I don’t know how this was leaked publicly or, how this got to reporters, but it’s getting so tiresome, this Giannis doesn’t wanna be the bad guy- routine, that it’s, it’s come all the way around.

You know the horseshoe effect politically, is that you’re so far on one end of the spectrum that now you’re, you’re going on the other side.

Where, his I don’t wanna be a bad guy routine- Yeah has horseshoed to being the bad guy, you know?

It’s just- I’m tired of it.

I saw the headline, I was like, “Please, Kevin, let’s not talk about this tomorrow,” and you gave me the list of the topics for today’s show and you didn’t have Giannis on it.

I was like, “Yay.”

“We don’t have to address this.”

But no, it’s no big deal because it’s been the same story for months.

Mm-hmm.

Yeah, I, I’m, I’m right there.

I’m right there with you.

That, the horseshoe effect is a perfect way to, to put it.
