The Philadelphia 76ers were able to get back in the win column on Thursday as they handled business 139-118 over the lowly Sacramento Kings. The Sixers are now 38-32 on the season as they look to make a push to get into the top 6 over the final 12 games of the season.

The Sixers got some help as the Miami Heat fell to the Los Angeles Lakers thanks to a 60-piece from Luka Doncic and the Orlando Magic fell to the Charlotte Hornets. Those losses coupled with a win by the Sixers moved them closer to getting out of the play-in. The Heat and the Magic have now lost three in a row.

The Sixers currently own the tiebreaker over the Raptors so if Toronto can drop, it would be a big help. The Heat own the tiebreaker over the Sixers at the moment due to a better conference record, but a March 30 matchup in Miami will be a big one for both teams with the season series tied at 1-1. Philadelphia owns the tiebreaker over the Magic while Atlanta owns the tiebreaker over the Sixers.
